The service schedule alternates between trash-only and combined trash & recycling pickup every other week, ensuring efficient waste management for our community. Metal Products
Acceptable Metal Products
- Aluminum
- Tin, steel, & aluminum cans
- Metal jar lids
- Coat hangers
- Aerosol cans
- Christmas tree lights
- Pots & pans
- Empty paint & aerosol cans
Metal must be clean, rinsed, and, if possible, flattened with metal lids inside.
Unacceptable Metal Products
- Pesticide & chemical containers
- Syringes
- Car parts & oil filters
- Batteries
Cardboard & Paper Products
Acceptable Cardboard & Paper Products
- Newspaper, magazines, & catalogs
- Corrugated cardboard (staples are ok; pizza boxes must be clean of food & refuse)
- Gray chipboard including cereal, cracker, & shoe boxes
- Junk mail & envelopes
- Paper bags
- Mixed office paper
- Phone, paperback, & hardcover books
- Paper egg cartons
- Paper towel & toilet tissue roll cores
- Shredded paper strips
Cardboard/paper products must be clean, dry, and flattened to conserve space.
Plastic Products
Acceptable Plastic Products
- Plastic with #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #7 symbols ONLY
- Milk & juice jugs
- Pop & water bottles
- Yogurt containers
- Ice cream tubs
- Cooking oil containers
- Shampoo bottles
- Lotion bottles
- Dish & liquid soap bottles
- Bleach & detergent containers
- Household cleaning containers
Remove and discard all caps, lids, rings, and pumps from plastics, and flatten containers to conserve space.
Unacceptable Plastic Products
- Styrofoam
- Plastic bags & film wrap
- Plastic with #6 symbol
- Plastic without a recycling symbol
- Oil and antifreeze containers
- Medical supplies & “sharps”
- Plastic shopping bags (please recycle at participating stores)
Miscellaneous Products

- Tires
- Glass is not acceptable for recycling. Glass should be placed in your trash.
