Age Requirements

You must be at least 15 years old to pass the required lifeguard training course. Class dates will be advertised as soon as possible at the high school for new applicants and for those former employees who have to re-certify.

Position & Schedule

NOTE: All full-time lifeguards must be at least 16 years old and WSI certified. All lifeguards will be required to work a minimum of two (2) weekends per month and be available to work at least one of the two summer holidays – Memorial Day and /or July 4th. The swimming pool is scheduled to be open from the end of May through the middle of August when many outdoor events are taking place; nevertheless, everyone must be willing to work his/her share of weekends and holidays.
